Thanks to @danielluu and Teejaylee for introducing me to this place. Located in Artesia, cha20 cafe serves their drinks in a unique bottle, cap included. They also have an Asian fusion food menu which id have to try next time. Milk teas were pretty good, honey boba wasn’t as sweet as other places. Whether con or pro is up to you. Their presentation makes me wanna come back for seconds tho. Smart.
Mung bean from 7 leaves in garden grove. So refreshing during the summer. This place has pretty cool and unique flavors. Too bad it’s so far from me.
Tried honey boba for the first time last Friday June 1st after a month of my no boba diet! The place has a modern feel to it (they accept credit cards w/ 50cent charge if under $10). Still doesn’t beat half and half or factory tea bars boba though. I would come back if in the area to try other things
Tried urth cafe’s organic black tea boba. It’s different with a more floral based taste to it but pretty good. Not what you would expect.
Honey Badger Cafe is fairly new to Alhambra and their business is both unique in their layout and decor. Not the typical “boba place” although they are not just a boba hot spot, they offer a menu composed of sandwiches, salads, soups, desserts and of course, tea. We ended up at this place very last minute but the waitresses were very kind as to offering us the lounge area and moving us to a bigger table when it was available. Service was a breath of fresh air compared to the other places we had been that day.
Their clover honey milk tea was pretty good, sweet but once the ice melted, it was a good compromise. Got to try their ice cream platter that consisted of taro, durian, mango, banana nut bread (i know right?), and lychee ice cream. All very flavorful with chunks of the real fruit.
Oh and if your taste buds enjoy durian, their shake made of durian ice cream is really good!
Definitely will be back to try their other stuff. Here’s their website for u to check them out if ur in the 626 area!
First time at factory tea bar. Milk tea and strawberry milk tea w honey boba. The atmosphere of the place may make it my new fav spot in the 626 :)
nice treat for a friday afternoon. tried the peach milk tea and lychee yogurt with pudding and honey boba of course.
